Not at all! We welcome beginners. We'll provide resources to help you get started, and you'll be part of a community of gardeners who can help.
You can still participate! Find a homeowner who has unused yard space, garden there, and split the rewards 80/20 (you get 80%, they get 20%).
Minimum 10 sq ft (about 3ft x 3ft - roughly the size of a raised bed). Maximum 200 sq ft for pilot rewards.
Any edible plants! Vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, lettuce), herbs (basil, cilantro), or fruit. Must be food-producing plants.
You'll need a Polygon wallet (we'll help you set this up). After your weekly photos are approved, tokens are sent automatically to your wallet.
No. YardCoin is a utility token earned through gardening work. It's not sold, marketed as an investment, or traded. This is about rewarding community food production.
12 weeks, starting in [MONTH]. We're looking for 10-15 founding participants to test the concept.
